Last fall we received no less than 429 applications from 61 different countries! Out of all these applicants, only 16 startups made it to pitch in front of our corporate partners. After a tough selection process, eight startups made the final cut into batch #13 – making the acceptance rate only 2%.

We are excited to welcome our new startups that made it into Batch #13, also known as the 2% club. These startups are developing innovations in various fields, from cybersecurity services for IoT devices to disinfection and hygiene management solutions for public spaces. Read more about our new startups and their innovations on our current startups -page. Also, make sure to follow us on social media (linked below) for individual startup introductions and ongoing updates.

Throughout the 20-week program, the startups will receive personal coaching and mentorship. They will also get to know TechFounders’ wide network of investors and industry professionals, and pitch in front of them at the Demo Day on May 20, 2021. In addition, six of the startups will conduct a pilot project with one of our corporate partners ALDI Nord & ALDI SÜD, Festo, Knorr-Bremse, and Miele.

Startups stimulate innovation and generate a significant number of new jobs, contributing to the overall growth of an economy. Therefore, we strive to provide startups with an optimal ecosystem where they can grow and succeed in a sustainable way. 92% of TechFounders alumni startups are still active and have raised €318 million in financing since 2015.
